Acute Otitis Media

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
You are invited to participate in ESPO’s online course on Acute Otitis Media Part 1 (everything from a slight ear ache to a life threatening disease), which will take place on Friday, 18th March, at 5.00-6.30 PM (Central European Time). The webinar aims for a deeper understanding of the background and treatment of AOM and its complication.
ESPO webinars are interactive courses with audience engagement. Course materials will be shared with all registrants 10 days in advance to allow time to prepare for the course.

Programme
Part 1 covers the following topics:
- What is acute otitis media? What happens in the middle ear and why?
- Microbes in middle ear infections. What are they and how dangerous are they?
- Epidemiology of AOM. Is it the same everywhere? Has it changed over time?
- Diagnosing AOM. Is there a problem?
