I would like to inform you of a newly created faculty position in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery within the Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery in the University of Pennsylvania and Perelman School of Medicine. The position will include approximately 50% protected research time and 50% clinical time. With respect to the research we are looking for candidates who have an interest in developing clinical and translational research programs with the goal of obtaining independent funding in the future. With respect to the clinical practice the candidate will have the opportunity to participate in all aspect of Head and Neck ablation and reconstruction and Skull Base Surgery as per their interest and experience. This position will allow close collaboration with our outstanding senior clinical faculty as well our research faculty who as of this year, with new faculty hires, have over four million dollars in NIH funding. In addition, there will be excellent opportunities to collaborate with faculty, both clinicians and investigators, throughout all schools at the University of Pennsylvania.
